December 15 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's gross domestic product (GDP) went up by a real 25.8% on the year in the third quarter of 2021, following a 19.0% rise in the previous quarter, preliminary data of the statistical office indicated.
In the third quarter of 2021, Montenegro's real GDP declined 26.9%.
Montenegro's GDP went up nominally by 30.7% in the three months through September 2021, versus a 26.3% fall a year ago, the statistical office said in a statement.
The country’s GDP totalled 1.583 billion euro ($1.789 billion) at current prices in the third quarter of 2021, up from 1.213 billion euro a year earlier.
Final consumption expenditure fell to 1.218 billion euro in the third quarter of 2021 from 1.135 billion euro in the like period of last year. Exports totalled 940 million euro and imports amounted to 914 million euro.
