PODGORICA (Montenegro), June 19 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose 12.6% year-on-year to 95.0 million kWh in May, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro grew by 5.3% in May, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 30.89 euro ($34.59) in May.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 37.65 euro, was paid by households in Kotor, while the lowest one, of 20.92 euro, was registered in the town of Zabljak.
The Montenegrin government is the majority owner of EPCG with a 70.16% stake. Italian company A2A owns the remainder.
