PODGORICA (Montenegro), June 14 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro decreased by 1.3% year-on-year to 84.4 million kWh in May, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro fell by 4.7% in May, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 27.95 euro ($33.06) in May.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 33.64 euro, was paid by households in Ulcinj, while the lowest one, of 19.62 euro, was registered in the town of Zabljak.
The Montenegrin government is the majority owner of EPCG with a 70.16% stake. Italian company A2A owns the remainder.
