PODGORICA (Montenegro), April 24 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro increased by 16.6% year-on-year to 121.2 million kWh in March, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose by 3% in March, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 39.67 euro ($48.45) in March.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 50.86 euro, was paid by households in Kotor, while the lowest one, of 19.06 euro, was registered in the town of Zabljak.
The Montenegrin government is the majority owner of EPCG with a 57% stake. Italian company A2A owns 41.75%.
