PODGORICA (Montenegro), February 13 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro declined 7.7% year-on-year to 134.5 million kWh in January, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose by 9.6% in January, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 41.96 euro ($42.95) in January.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 53.24 euro, was paid by households in Kotor, while the lowest one, of 22.75 euro, was registered in the town of Berane.
The Montenegrin government is the majority owner of EPCG with a 88.1% stake. Italian company A2A owns the remainder.
