March 22 (SeeNews) - Montenegrin solar array builder EPCG Solar Gradnja said it has signed a technical cooperation agreement with Bosnian electrical equipment maker Kaldera Company in line with its regional expansion plans.
The goal of the cooperation is a joint market penetration at most favourable terms and the implementation of projects via networking the business partners and the operational capacities of both parties, the head of EPCG Solar Gradnja, Valerija Saveljic, said in a statement on Thursday.
"The competitive advantage of EPCG Solar Gradnja is that it possesses a large number of skilled and licenced technicians and engineers compared to other companies in the country and the region," Saveljic noted.
She pointed out that EPCG Solar Gradnja has chosen Kaldera for a market expansion partner, considering its vast experience and achievements, including its contract with Germany's Siemens for a licenced production of Siemens' primary and secondary medium-voltage switchgear type 8DJH, SIMOSEC and NXPLUS.
EPCG Solar Gradnja specialises in the supply, design, installation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. The company is owned by state-controlled power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
Laktasi-based Kaldera was set up in 1994. Its main line of business is the manufacturing of equipment for electricity distribution and control.
