February 6 (SeeNews) - Montenegro and Azerbaijan signed an air service agreement enabling the introduction of scheduled flights between the two countries, news portal EX-YU Aviation reported on Monday.
"This agreement will facilitate mutual visits of citizens of the two countries and will positively affect the development of tourism and cultural relations between our countries," Azerbaijani transport minister Rashad Nabiyev was quoted as saying.
Azerbaijani flag carrier AZAL maintained regular once-weekly charter flights between Baku and Tivat over the summer months.
