April 2 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's government extended until April 15 the state of emergency in the country imposed due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), it said.
The state of emergency was announced on March 15 and its initial duration was 15 days, the Montenegrin government said in a statement on Wednesday.
The measures imposed by the government include prohibition of the entry of foreigners into the country, compulsory self-isolation for all Montenegrin citizens who come from abroad for a period of 14 days and a ban on providing catering services in hotels, except for already registered guests, the government said.
Earlier this week, Montenegro introduced a night curfew for all citizens to limit the spread of the virus.
Montenegro has so far confirmed 123 cases of COVID-19, including one death.
