April 3 (SeeNews) - Maltese online gambling company RubyPlay said it has expanded into the Serbian market after signing a partnering with local betting company Maxbet.
The move allows RubyPlay to bring its ever-growing portfolio to a wider audience in the Balkans and highlight its role as a leading provider of premium gaming content, RubyPlay said in a LinkedIn post on Tuesday.
“Partnering with RubyPlay allows us to further enrich our platform with high-quality content, including its popular Immortal Ways series, catering to the diverse preferences of our players,” said Maxbet head of online casino, Vukasin Marelj, in a LinkedIn post on Tuesday.
This partnership aims to strengthen RubyPlay's foothold in the Serbian market by integrating its portfolio of games into MaxBet's platform, according to news portal Gambling Insider.
In September 2023, Irish gambling giant Flutter Entertainment acquired a 51% stake in Serbian betting company Maxbet for 141 million euro ($152 million)
MaxBet was established in 1997 and operates in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia’s Serb Republic and North Macedonia.
