December 17 (SeeNews) - The gross foreign exchange reserves held by Macedonia's central bank, NBRM, rose to 1.551 billion euro ($2.2 billion) at the end of October from 1.522 billion euro a month earlier, the NBRM said on Monday.
Compared to end-2006, the foreign exchange reserves grew by 135 million euro, NBRM’s data showed.
The reason for the increase is the central bank's buying foreign currency, NBRM said in a statement posted on its website.
