May 8 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's leading fuel retailer Makpetrol said on Monday it plans to distribute a total of 112.4 million denars ($2 million/1.8 million euro) of its 2016 net profit in dividend.
Makpetrol intends to pay a gross dividend of 1,000 denars per share, the company said in statement published on Macedonia's stock exchange.
The stock will go ex-dividend on July 7. The payment of the dividend is planned to be carried out until September 30.
The proposal will be voted by the company's annual shareholders meeting scheduled for June 10.
Makpetrol's net profit for 2016 soared to of 376.8 million denars from 13.1 million denars previously mainly due to lower operating costs.
Last year, Makpetrol decided to retain its entire net profit of 13.1 million denars.
