March 12 (SeeNews) - Macedonian fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said on Monday its non-consolidated net profit fell by 20% year-on-year to 301.8 million denars ($6.0 million/4.9 million euro) in 2017.
The company's operating profit lost 25% to 323.8 million denars last year, on the back of a 15% increase in operating expenses to 18.4 billion denars, Makpetrol said in an annual financial statement.
The fuel retailer's operating revenue rose 14% on the year to 18.6 billion denars. Sales on the domestic market added 13% to 17.8 billion denars, while sales abroad grew 36% to 812.3 million denars.
Makpetrol has a network of 127 fuel stations across Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
