November 12 (SeeNews) - Macedonian fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said on Monday that its non-consolidated net profit soared to 622.2 million denars ($11.4 million/10.1 million euro) in the first nine months of the year from 201.8 million denars in the like period of 2017.
The company's operating revenue rose 17% year-on-year to 16.2 billion denars in the January-September period, Makpetrol said in an interim financial statement.
Domestic sales added 16% on the year to 15.3 billion denars, while sales abroad gained 40% to 832.8 million denars.
Makpetrol's operating expenses increased 14% to 15.6 billion denars in the review period.
Financial revenue rose 69% on the year to 126.6 million denars, while financial expenses added 59% to 86.1 million denars.
Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred fuel stations across Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
