October 31 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's hotel and catering company Makedonijaturist reported on Wednesday a preliminary net profit of 118.7 million denars ($2.8 million/1.93 million euro) for the first nine months of 2007, up 63.7% on the year.
Company officials were not immediately available to comment.

In 2006 Makedonijaturist's net profit rose by 9.3% to 127.6 million denars.
The Skopje-based company is included in the MSE blue-chip index. Its shares fell by 0.67% to 8,000 denars on Wednesday.
Makedonijaturist runs nine hotels and three restaurants. The company's managers hold a 36.73% stake in the company. Macedonian private company Teteks Petrol owns 5.08% of the shares. The remainder is owned by minority shareholders.
