November 5 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's largest wool mill Teteks AD said on Thursday its preliminary net profit fell by 17.1% on the year to 2.9 million denars ($69,760/47,080 euro) in the first nine months of 2009.

Teteks’ shares were quoted flat at 1,000 denars by 1445 GMT on Thursday.
Based in the city of Tetovo in northwestern Macedonia, Teteks produces 500,000 metres of fabrics, 250,000 pieces of ready-made garments and 200,000 pieces of knitwear per year. It exports its output to Europe and the U.S.
Teteks (www.teteks.com.mk) has several non-textile operations in Macedonia, including PVC production, printing and trade in oil products. It is the biggest single shareholder in local TTK Banka with a stake of some 40%.
