November 9 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's oil refinery Okta said its preliminary net profit fell to 197.034 million denars ($4.46 million/3.23 million euro) through September from 503.968 million denars a year ago.

Okta is the sole oil refinery in Macedonia. It had 780 employees at the end of 2009.
Greek oil group Hellenic Petroleum’s subsidiary EL.P.ET. Balkaniki owns 81.5% of the Macedonian refinery.
