August 30 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's oil refinery Okta said its preliminary net profit fell to 235.686 million denars ($4.87 million/3.83 million euro) in the first half of 2010 from 328.839 million denars a year ago.

Okta is the sole oil refinery in Macedonia. It had 780 employees at the end of June.
Greek oil group Hellenic Petroleum’s subsidiary EL.P.ET. Balkaniki owns 81.5% of the Macedonian refinery.
