- Macedonian construction company Granit won a 2.6 million euro deal for the reconstruction of 17 local roads in western and central Macedonia, the country’s State Roads Agency’s director Natasa Volkanovska said. The reconstruction works should be completed within 12 months.
- Representatives of the French-Italian company Lattiero Caseario visited the Macedonian dairy Swedmilk to check its condition, following a bankruptcy procedure launched by a Skopje court earlier this year over the dairy's debts of some 40 million euro. A representative of Lattiero Caseario said that Swedmilk is in excellent condition, but he pointed out to its huge debts which, according him, are three times higher than the dairy's value. Negotiations with banks and farmers will continue, and should an agreement be reached, Lattiero Caseario will file a bid and a business plan for Swedmilk within 10-15 days, he said.
