VECER
- The electricity price will increase by 9.98% as of January 1, the Macedonian Energy Regulatory Commission said.
- Macedonian farming company ZK Pelagonija Bitola, listed on the Macedonian Stock Exchange, said it plans to sell 18,000 of its shares via a public offering for 2,470 denars per stock in an aim to maintain its liquidity. Subscription starts on January 11, 2010.
- The management of the Dutch-based Danube Foods Group, owned by the investment fund Salford Continental, will meet Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski on Tuesday to inform him about the group’s future investments in the country’s dairy industry. Danube Foods is the owner of Macedonia's IMB dairy, located in the southwestern city of Bitola.

- Macedonian steel mill Makstil said it will restart production on January 4, after halting it due to the low volume of operations ahead of the New Year holidays.
DNEVNIK
- Macedonia’s Economy Ministry has awarded concessions for prospecting for mineral deposits to 11 companies. The firms, selected through a tender procedure, will explore 84 sites in Macedonia.
