June 2 (SeeNews) - London-based firm Schroders Plc raised its holdings in Slovenian lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] to 5.108% from below 5.0%, the bank said on Tuesday.
Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) made the announcement in a brief statement filed with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LSE), without specifying the size of Schroders' stake prior to the change.

NLB said it was notified by Schroders about the change on June 1. The transaction which resulted in the increased holdings took place on May 29.
According to data from NLB's website, as of end-2019, Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon) controlled 62.32% of its capital, followed by the Slovenian government with 25% and small shareholders with 12.68%.
NLB's shares closed up 2.05% at 39.80 euro ($44.47) on the LSE on Tuesday.
