November 29 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) advanced on Tuesday, after falling for six consecutive trading sessions, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,067.97 points, up 1.40%. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also gained 1.40%, to 1,336.68 points, LJSE data showed.
Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] paced the blue-chip risers, with shares adding 3.16% to 58.80 euro on Tuesday.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] was another major gainer, as its shares rose 2.40% to 93.80 euro. The pharmaceutical company also was the most traded company on the bourse on Tuesday, generating a turnover of 1.1 million euro ($1.14 million).
Fuel and petroleum retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] was the sole decliner, with shares losing 0.48% to 20.80 euro.
Total daily regulated market turnover rose to 11.1 million euro on Tuesday, including a block turnover of 9.7 million euro, from just 987,092 euro on Monday.
