August 28 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SBITOP index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell for a second straight session on Friday, closing 1.50% lower at 841.29 points, bourse data showed.
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] paced the blue-chip losers for a second consecutive day, shedding 3.36% to a closing price of 46 euro ($55). It was followed by energy firm Petrol [LJE:PETG] whose shares fell 2.56% to 304 euro.
Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] led blue-chip gainers for a second session in a row on Friday, rising 1.89% to 37.70 euro at close.
Trading in the shares of blue-chip drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest turnover for the day - of 712,000 euro, with the share price dropping 2.09% to 84.20 euro.
Six of the eleven blue-chip companies on the LJSE fell on Friday, two rose, one ended the session flat and two did not trade.
LJSE did not provide a figure for Thursday's total turnover.
