January 22 (SeeNews) - Kosovo’s private higher education institution Univerzum International College (UNI) said it is installing photovoltaic (PV) panels on the rooftops of its three campuses with a total capacity of 152.6 kW to power its education activities through renewable energy.
Local solar array provider Elen, which has been tasked with the project’s implementation, is using some 280 PV panels and high-efficiency inverters, UNI said in a social media post last week.
Univerzum International College’s campuses are located in the country’s capital Pristina, and the south-eastern towns of Ferizaj and Gjakova.
The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in diverse areas, involving stomatology, nursing, language studies, cyber security, business management, political sciences and law.
