May 24 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's gross electricity production amounted to 681.41 GWh in March, down 9.9% year-on-year, the national statistical office said on Tuesday.
Thermal power plants produced 539.6 GWh of electricity, wind and solar plants generated 31.2 GWh, while hydro plants produced 38.3 GWh in March, Kosovo's Agency of Statistics said in a statement.
Kosovo imported 264.47 GWh of electricity in February, down 0.95% on the year, whereas power exports fell 14.52% to 192.3 GWh.
Coal production amounted to 461,300 tonnes in March, down by 27.6% compared with the same month in 2022.
