January 23 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] was the most traded stock and the second biggest blue-chip loser on the Belgrade bourse on Monday as share indices ended mixed, stock exchange data showed.
Komercijalna banka lost 1.18% on Monday and closed at 1,681 dinars in a turnover of 15.1 million dinars, as 9,000 shares changed hands.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, edged down 0.08% to 700.91 points. On Friday, the index fell by 1.46% to 701.44.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, increased by 0.03% and closed the session at 1,450.56, after declining 1.46% to 1,540.08 on Friday.
Oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] led the blue-chip gainers, rising 0.54% to 749 dinars. NIS was the most traded stock between January 16 and January 20, as a total of 14,003 shares changed hands. Turnover from trading in NIS shares last week amounted to 20 million dinars.
Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] paced the blue-chip decliners on Monday, losing 1.38% to 3,945 dinars. Jedinstvo advanced the most among the blue chips between January 16 and 20. The stock added 1.81% and closed at 4,000 dinars on Friday.
On Monday, the total turnover from share trading on the Belgrade bourse amounted to 23.4 million dinars ($202,500/188,700 euro), of which 1.79 million dinars was generated on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) segment. The share trading turnover on the regulated market amounted to 21.6 million dinars, amid 274 transactions. On Friday, turnover from trading in shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange stood at 14.1 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade bourse on Monday.
