May 31 (SeeNews) - Montenegro’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said it has received a request from a private individual investor to conduct an environmental impact assessment (EIA) of a project for the construction of a 120 MW wind farm.
The Nebojsa wind park project, to be developed in the northern municipality of Pljevlja, will feature 20 wind turbines of 6 MW each, according to project documentation posted on the EPA Montenegro's website last week.
The wind farm is expected to produce 393 GWh of electricity per year, bringing a revenue of 40.5 million euro ($43.2 million), calculated according to electricity prices from July 2022.
The investor is listed as private individual, Marijana Andric Marjanovic.
