June 13 (SeeNews) - Greece posted the EU's second-highest annual growth in industrial output in April, at 10.8%, followed by Slovenia with 7.4%, Eurostat said on Thursday.
Greece also marked the EU's second-biggest monthly increase in industrial production in the review month, at 7%, the bloc's statistical office said in a monthly report.
In comparison, Romania posted the sole monthly fall in industrial output among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE) in April, at 1.3%.
Croatia, on the other hand, saw the largest annual decline in industrial output among EU states in SEE, at 2%.
In the EU overall, industrial output slipped by 2% year-on-year and went up by a monthly 0.5% in April.
