November 28 (SeeNews) - German discount textile retailer Kik said on Wednesday it has opened its fourth shop in Romania, following investment of 150,000 euro ($169,348).
The 650 sq m unit is located in the B1 Retail Park in the northern city of Bistrita, Kik said in a press release.
" We want to have an equally dynamic growth on the Romanian market and, above all, to receive the same warmth in every city we come across. The company's strategy is directed towards customers, so KiK focuses on the quality of its products at an affordable price," KiK Romania general manager Raluca Hartmann said.
Earlier this month, Kik opened its third store in Romania, in the northern city of Botosani.
By the end of the year, the German retailer will open its second store in Oradea, as well as a store each in Vaslui, Ramnicu Valcea and Craiova.
KiK is targeting a nationwide expansion by opening 45 units by the end of 2019, it said in September, when it entered Romania.
Kik Textilien is a German textile discount store chain operating more that 3,400 stores in Germany, Austria, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland.
