SKOPJE (Macedonia), August 2 (SeeNews) – The friendship treaty with Bulgaria brings Macedonia closer to EU membership, the European Parliament has said.
“We firmly believe that such positive developments set an example in the region and bring the Macedonian people a step closer to their desired membership of the European Union,” the European Parliament said in a press release on Tuesday.
