April 12 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to North Macedonia plunged by an annual 60.2% in February, to 11,835, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in North Macedonia fell to 26,774 in February, a decrease of 52.1% year-on-year, Makstat said in a statement.
Out of the total number of foreign tourists who visited North Macedonia in February, 21.3% came from Kosovo, 18.5% from Albania and 16% from Serbia.
Domestic tourists numbered 15,734 in February, down 10.4%, as they spent 33,239 overnights, down 14.8% year-on-year.
