March 30 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Montenegro in February rose 29.1% on the year to 19,911, data from the country's statistical office showed on Friday.
The total number of tourists who stayed in the country in February increased by an annual 24.1% to 25,283, the office said in a statement.
Tourist overnights in February totalled 58,959, up 7% year-on-year.
Visitors from Serbia accounted for 21.9% of all overnights in February, followed by tourists from Albania with a 14.3% share, France with 6.1%, Russia with 5.9%, Croatia with 5.4%, Turkey with 4.8%, China and Bosnia with 4.1% each.
Seaside resorts accounted for 53.5% of all overnight stays, followed by the country's capital with 24.3%, mountain resorts with 16.9% and other tourist resorts with 5.3%.
