June 28 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Montenegro in May rose 14% on the year to 111,580, the country's statistical office said.
The total number of tourists who stayed in the country in May increased by an annual 13% to 359,851, data from the country's statistical office showed.
Visitors from France accounted for 17% of all overnights in May, followed by tourists from Germany with a 12.5% share, Serbia with 8.6%, the United Kingdom with 6.4%, Russia with 6% and Austria with 3.8%.
Seaside resorts accounted for 88% of all overnight stays, followed by the country's capital with 6.6%, mountain resorts with 3.1% and other tourist resorts with 2.7%.
