May 4 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in March totalled 42,481, up 44.6% compared with the same month a year earlier, according to figures released by the entity's statistical office.
Foreign tourists spent 83,485 overnights in the Federation in March, an annual increase of 36.6%, the Federation's statistical office said in a monthly report on Friday.
The total number of tourists who visited the Federation in March was 64,777, up 20.2% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 18% on the year to 123,124 in March.
In March the most foreign visitors to the Federation came from Croatia (11,726), followed by tourists from Serbia (4,419) and Slovenia (2,534).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
