February 3 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in December totalled 40,971, up 34.1% compared with the same month a year earlier, according to figures released by the entity's statistical office.
Foreign tourists spent 84,175 overnights in the Federation in December, an annual increase of 22.3%, figures published this week by the Federation's statistical office showed.
The total number of tourists who visited the Federation in December was 70,485, up 24.4% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 20.6% on the year to 134,995 in December 2022.
In December the most foreign visitors to the Federation came from Croatia (10,235), followed by tourists from Serbia (4,059) and UAE ( 3,168).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
