October 4 (SeeNews) - A total of 135,403 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in August, compared with 95,985 in August 2021, the country's statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 321,334 overnights in Bosnia in August, up 34% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report on Monday.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in August was 195,222, up 29.2% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 22.8% to 469,671.
In August most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Serbia (13,917), followed by tourists from Croatia (12,091) and Germany (8,743).
Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia surged 153% on the year in 2021.
