June 7 (SeeNews) - A total of 49,672 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in April, compared with 13,613 in April 2021, the country's statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 100,687 overnights in Bosnia in April, up 216% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report on Friday.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in April was 81,701, up 129% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 96% to 165,903.
In April, most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Serbia (12,082), followed by tourists from Croatia (7,550) and Slovenia (4,690).
Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia surged 153% on the year in 2021.
