April 28 (SeeNews) - All four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed higher on Friday, with the blue-chip SOFIX adding 0.52% to 607.01 points, bourse data showed.
SOFIX was boosted by First Investment Bank, or Fibank, [BUL:FIB], which leapt by 3.96% to 2.10 levs, and poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6], which increased by 3.45% to 1.50 levs.
Fibank and Gradus were also among the top gainers in the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse. The index grew by 0.27% to 139.72 points, further pushed up by a 4.65% advance in diversified group Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB] to 1.80 levs.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, went up by 0.52% to 720.91 points. Growth was driven by the gains at Fibank and Gradus, as well as a 2.80% rise in Balkan and Sea Properties REIT [BUL:BSP] to 22.00 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, posted the highest gain of the day, climbing 0.91% to 190.62 points. It was buoyed by Balkan and Sea Properties and Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], which increased by 1.75% to 3.48 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange rose to 416,429 levs ($235,103/212,916 euro) on Friday from 368,138 levs a day earlier.
The top stock by turnover was Gradus, which generated 45,594 levs with 30,396 shares changing hands.
