December 27 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index fell 0.22% to 561.73 points on Friday, hurt by a drop in the share price of financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH].
Eurohold shares erased 5.45% to 1.56 levs on Friday. The company hit a 23-month low of 1.36 levs on last week but subsequently regained some ground.
Other major decliners among SOFIX members on Friday were Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] and Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:5BU], which lost 4.13% and 1.01%, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, ended down 0.03% to 110.76 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.02% to 508.79 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, erased 0.15% to 130.32 points on Friday.
Total daily regulated market turnover amounted to some 439,000 levs.
