January 31 (SeeNews) - Canada's Euro Sun Mining said that it has closed a private placement financing of common shares worth 3.3 million Canadian dollars ($2.5 million/2.3 million euro) for the advancement of its Rovina Valley project in Romania and for general corporate purposes.
The company issued 11,379,310 shares at a price of $0.29 Canadian dollars per share, it said in a press release on Thursday.
The common shares issued under the offering are subject to a hold period that expires on May 30, 2020.
Earlier this month, Euro Sun Mining closed a non-brokered private placement financing of common shares for total C$2.52 million also intended for the advancement of Rovina Valley project .
Euro Sun is a Toronto Stock Exchange-listed mining company focused on the exploration and development of its 100%-owned Rovina Valley gold and copper project located in west-central Romania. The property hosts 10.11 million ounces of gold equivalent.
