December 15 (SeeNews) - Croatia should receive almost 320 million euro ($ 361 million) in financial assistance from the European Union Solidarity Fund (EUSF) to recover from a series of earthquakes that hit the country at the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021, the European Parliament said.
“This includes an advance of 41 million euro that has already been disbursed,” the European Parliament said in a statement on Tuesday after it approved the European Commission’s proposal for the assistance.
A devastating series of earthquakes hit Croatia's Sisak-Moslavina county and parts of the Karlovac and Zagreb counties between December 28, 2020 and February 21, 2021.
