September 13 (SeeNews) - Diversified holding company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Djuro Djakovic's shares closed 8.2% higher at 27.97 kuna.
Hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the highest trading turnover of 2.5 million kuna. The company's share price went down 2.7% and closed at 44.36 kuna.
Fertiliser producer Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM] paced the blue-chip decliners as its share price fell 5.11% to 8.35 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover decreased to 9.2 million kuna ($1.47 million/1.2 million euro) on Wednesday from 30.1 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the ZSE declined 1.42% to 1,842.80 points, after falling 0.64% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 1.45% to 1,090.71 points after declining 0.73% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index rose 0.02% to 111.1394 points.
