BUCHAREST (Romania), December 23 (SeeNews) – Danish wind turbines producer Vestas said on Wednesday it has received an order to deliver 75 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 140 megawatts (MW) for projects in Bulgaria and Romania.
The order has been placed by Global Wind Power, and the contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of fifty V100-1.8 MW turbines and twenty-five V90-2.0 MW turbines, and a five year-service agreement, Vestas said in a statement, without disclosing the value of the contract.

Installation of the turbines will start next year and the projects are expected to be commissioned during 2010.
Global Wind Power has implemented four projects with Vestas turbines in Bulgaria in the past two years with a total capacity of 52 MW, Vestas said in the statement.
