August 23 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Friday, as shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] led the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Viktor Lenac's shares closed 1.87% higher at 5.45 kuna.
Croatia's Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] led the blue-chip losers, as its share price fell 0.83% to 1,200 kuna.
Diversified company Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS] generated the highest trading turnover among the blue-chip companies on Friday, of 3.5 million kuna, including a block transaction of 2.1 million kuna. Adris' preferred shares closed 0.87% higher at 465 kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover rose to 8.5 million kuna ($1.3 million/1.1 million euro), from 6.6 million kuna on Thursday.
The 25-share benchmark index CROBEX rose by 0.07% to 1,874.25 points on Friday after falling 0.45% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased by 0.10% to 1,091.70 after losing 0.47% on Thursday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed flat at 116.4652.
