May 9 (SeeNews) - Croatian holding company Uniline group, a provider of one-stop-shop services in tourism, said on Tuesday its sales revenue exceeded 43 million euro ($47 million) last year, up 77% on 2021 on the back of rebound of the tourism sector after the pandemic.
All members of the Uniline group – the parent company Uniline, E-Tours, Uniline Mobility and Amarin, increased their revenue last year, it said in a press release.
The parent company, Uniline, had the largest contribution to the rise in sales with annual growth of 56%.
The Uniline group has maintained its leading position in the sector of travel agencies and tour operators in Croatia. In line with its strategic objective to further develop mobility service, at the beginning of this year it acquired for an undisclosed sum rent-a-car company Vetura, a leader in the segment of road assistance.
In the first quarter of 2023, Uniline saw a 133% annual rise in demand and sales, thanks to revived interest from its traditional partners in the Far East for tourism services in Croatia, and it expects good results in the rest of the year.
“The results that we achieved in 2022 and at the beginning of 2023 are a consequence of the strong recovery of tourism in Croatia. This year, the group will focus on digitalization of its business operations and development of new products to further improve the quality of its service, and to strengthen its human resources,” the CEO of the group, Boris Zgomba, said in the press release.
