July 11 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Thursday, as food producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] paced the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Podravka's shares closed 1.75% higher at 406 kuna.
Power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] led the blue-chip losers, as its share price fell 1.84% to 4.81 kuna.
Tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the highest trading turnover among the blue-chip companies on Thursday - 2.5 million kuna including a 2.0 million kuna block transaction.
ZSE's total trading turnover grew to 18.1 million kuna ($2.8 million/2.4 million euro), from 11.8 million kuna on Wednesday.
The 25-share benchmark index CROBEX rose 0.22% to 1,885.17 after falling 0.24% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased 0.42% to 1,100.47 after falling 0.11% on Wednesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index lost 0.02% to 114.9404.
