July 29 (SeeNews) - Croatian fertiliser producer Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM-R-A] said on Monday it turned to consolidated net profit of 27.4 million kuna ($4.1 million/3.7 million euro) in the first half of 2019, from a net loss of 177.6 million kuna a year earlier.
The company's first-half revenue jumped 21.9% on the year to 1.13 billion kuna, while total costs remained flattish at 1.11 billion kuna, Petrokemija said in a filing with the Zagreb bourse.
Petrokemija's total assets decreased to 1.3 billion kuna as of end-June, from 1.5 billion kuna at the end of 2018.
The Petrokemija group employs 1,730 people.
