March 22 (SeeNews) - Croatian elevator manufacturer Metus opened a factory worth 1.2 million euro ($1.3 million) in the Bosnian city of Tomislavgrad, the city authorities said.
The factory specialises in the production of elevators and encompasses a training centre for their installation, the city authorities said in a statement on Monday.
Metus employs 42 people in Bosnia, including 12 in the new factory, the statement read.
Metus already has an office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the town of Vitina, its website shows.
Metus launched the construction of the factory in July 2021.
Metus, founded in 2005, is active in the installation, upgrade, maintenance and repair of elevators and escalators. The company has over 350 employees in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Germany.
