March 4 (SeeNews) - Croatian port operator Luka Rijeka [ZSE:LKRI-R-A] narrowed its net loss to 3.2 million kuna ($507,700/421,800 euro) in 2020 from 16.4 million kuna a year earlier, it said.
Total consolidated revenue grew 3.2% year-on-year to 165.5 million kuna in 2020, whereas total costs fell 1.3% to 168.2 million kuna, Luka Rijeka said in a consolidated financial statement filed with the Zagreb bourse last week.
The volume of general cargo processed at the port of Rijeka in 2020 fell 16.5% on the year to 658,929 tonnes, while the volume of dry bulk cargo increased 38.5% to 1,765,777 tonnes.
Luka Rijeka's shares traded 2.67% lower at 29.2 kuna on the Zagreb bourse by 1415 CET on Thursday.
Rijeka, situated in the northern part of the Kvarner Bay, is the largest seaport in Croatia.
