October 18 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Croatia fell by 6.9% on the year in the first nine months of 2022, to 34,566, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said on Tuesday, quoting provisional figures.
In September alone, new passenger car registrations in Croatia rose by 22.6% on the year, to 3,369, ACEA said in a statement.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, declined 9.9% year-on-year to 6.784 million in the January-September period of 2022, ACEA said in a statement.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 6.9% lower on the year at 851,471 in the first nine months of 2022.
New passenger car registrations in Croatia increased by 25% to 44,915 in 2021, following a 43% drop in 2020.
