August 8 (SeeNews) - Croatia's cereals trader and miller and dairy products maker Granolio Group [ZSE: GRNL] said it its consolidated net profit decreased to 1.23 million euro ($1.3 million) in the first half of this year from 1.96 million euro in the same period of 2022.
EBITDA fell to 3.1 million euro from 3.5 million euro, as EBITDA margin narrowed to 7% in the review period from 8% last year, Granolio said in an unaudited financial report to the Zagreb bourse.
EBIT dropped to 1.6 million euro from almost 2.0 million euro.
Operating revenue rose 1% on the year to 43 million euro, while operating costs expanded to 41.4 million euro from 40.6 million euro.
The company reported net negative effects of interest rate and exchange rate differences of 368,000 euro in the first six months of this year, compared to net negative effects of 9,000 euro in the comparable period of 2022.
Granoilo's shares last traded on June 29 on the Zagreb bourse, closing 16.67% higher at 7.35 euro.
